  All participants must be a registered Skate Canada member and must pay the annual membership fee. The Skate Canada fee is payable once per skating year (Sept 1-Aug 31) per skater, and is not pro-rated at any time. 

  The membership fee will automatically be added to your invoice when registering for a program in the skating season. Existing Skate Canada members must add their Skate Canada membership number to their skater profile before registering.

• 2026-27 RaffleBox Tickets - $100 Preauthorization From Aug 24, 2026 - Dec 13, 2026
  

  This will authorize MJSC to charge your credit card up to $100 on Dec. 31, 2026.  

  MJSC will use RaffleBox to sell online lotto tickets. When purchasing tickets, buyers will indicate which participant they are supporting. Each participant is responsible for selling $100 worth of tickets.  

  • Participants who sell less than $100 worth of tickets will be charged the difference on Dec. 31
  • Participants who sell more than $100 worth of tickets will provide StarSkate participant families with the opportunity to win a prize!

• 2026-27 StarSkate Winter 1 - Mitchell's Soup Fundraiser From Sep 1, 2026 - Nov 10, 2026
  

  This is a mandatory fundraiser for StarSkaters for Winter 1.  

  Collect $100 in orders from Mitchell's Soup Co.

  All orders will be done online starting on October 27th

  Orders Due November 10

  Details will be sent out by email prior to the start of orders.

• 2026-27 Winter 2 Winter Classic Competition Shift - $75 Preauthorization From Sep 1, 2026 - Feb 25, 2027
  

  This will authorize MJSC to charge your credit card up to $75 on March 15th, 2027

  MJSC is hosting the Winter Classic Competition on February 26-28, 2027.  Families are required to work 2x4 hour shifts during the competition.  More information on the schedule and shifts needed will be sent out closer to the event. Participants who choose not to work a shift will charged $75 on March 15th, 2027.

  • Participants who work the shift will have the hold removed from their account.
