The 2024 STARSkate Summer Camp will open for registration on July 16, 2024 for MJSC members and non-members. If this is your first time summer skating with MJSC, feel free to contact us at mjsc@live.ca to ask any questions!
Week 1 - August 19-23, 2024
As part of the Week 1 camp package, each skater will also receive:
- 3- 45 minute off ice training sessions
- 2- 30 min off ice stretch sessions
- 5- 60 min on ice Team sessions
Week 2 - August 26-30, 2024
- 3- 60 min on ice Team sessions
- 3- 60 min on ice Open sessions
Coaching Staff
Moose Jaw Skating Coaches will be present, see Moose Jaw Skating website for more information. All private lessons on open sessions will be billed direct to the skater. Coaching is included in the weekly pricing for all of the Group sessions.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation deadline is July 31, 2024. After July 31, refunds will be considered for medical reasons substantiated by a doctor’s medical certificate. Requests must be made in writing. The $25 registration fee will be withheld on all refunds.
Program Descriptions
- Open: Skaters will receive private or group lessons along with self-directed practice time.
- Team: sessions in a group format directed by MJSC coaches
- Off-Ice Sessions: Off Ice warmup and Posture/Stretch sessions will be facilitated at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. Off ice warmup will be held 3 days per week, Stretch classes will be held twice a week. (Week 1 only)
